Optimized Lawn Irrigation Controller for Indoor/Outdoor Use

The industry's most flexible irrigation controller solution, the ESP-ME3, supports flow monitoring, LNK WiFi, and up to 22 stations, providing customers with the station count options they need. To ensure even greater water monitoring and protection from a broken irrigation system, users can install a flow sensor.

The ESP-ME3 offers several features that enhance its functionality and user-friendliness. One key feature is WiFi Connectivity. By simply plugging in a Rain Bird LNK WiFi Module (sold separately), users can access, operate, and monitor their irrigation system from anywhere. The internet-based weather information is used to make daily adjustments to the irrigation schedule, saving up to 30% in water.

Another notable feature is Flow Monitoring, which is compatible with multiple sizes and makes of wired flow sensors. This allows for flow monitoring and notifications, helping to save water and protect against property damage.

The ESP-ME3 also offers the ability to Bypass the Rain Sensor by Station, allowing users to bypass the rain sensor for stations under an eave, deck, or in a greenhouse, ensuring consistent watering. Additionally, it provides Seasonal Adjust by Program, enabling users to save water by changing the seasonal adjust from 5% to 200% for corrected run times without changing the scheduled times.

One-Touch Watering is another convenient feature of the ESP-ME3. With the dial in the AUTO position, users can simply press and hold the right arrow button to start manually watering the current program.

The controller also offers a Contractor Default feature, allowing users to save a default program. If the original watering schedule is overwritten in error, it can be easily restored in just two steps.

The ESP-ME3 has specific Operating Specifications that ensure its efficiency and effectiveness. The station timing ranges from 1 minute to 6 hours, and the Seasonal Adjust can be set from 5% to 200%. The maximum operating temperature is 149°F (65°C).

With a station count of 4 to 22, the ESP-ME3 can be installed on both residential and light commercial sites. Users can add station modules when expanding irrigation without removing or powering down the controller.

To upgrade the ESP-ME3 to a SMART controller, users can add the LNK WiFi module and a WR2 rain sensor. The LNK makes programming and monitoring easy through the enhanced Rain Bird app.

The ESP-ME3 is configurable to 22 stations with additional 3 or 6 station modules, allowing for different sized jobs or future irrigation needs. It comes with a power plug and an outdoor cabinet for indoor or outdoor installation.

Finally, the ESP-ME3 provides alert notifications for system issues, including electrical, programming, or high flow (when using a flow sensor), through a red LED and scrolling messages coupled with mobile device alerts when used with the LNK WiFi Module and the Rain Bird app. The large text and symbols, as well as the clear, back-lit 3" screen, make the controller easy to understand and read, even in dark garages or sheds.
