During the SAP setup process, ensure your device remains connected to the HunterX2XXX Wi-Fi network. Your device's Wi-Fi may automatically connect back to your saved networks, and a 'No Internet' popup may appear. In such cases, select 'Continue Without Internet' to maintain the connection to WAND. Forget the saved HunterX2XXX Wi-Fi network in your device's Wi-Fi settings, then restart the Wi-Fi setup. If necessary, uninstall WAND, re-insert it, and then restart the Wi-Fi setup.

This simple, plug-in device enables Hydrawise online irrigation management capabilities for any X2 controller, providing maximum water savings. It offers controller status updates and faulty wiring alerts, signifying the need for maintenance before costly landscape damage occurs. The standard programming allows for 3 independent programs with 6 start times per program and 24-hour maximum run times.

When Wi-Fi is unavailable or the controller is hard to access, you can use your smartphone as a manual remote. WAND is compatible with Amazon Alexa, Control4, and HomeSeer, offering flexible setup options: Bluetooth Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi direct, or WPS push-button connection.

The device is compatible with 2.4 GHz (only) Wi-Fi routers, specifically 802.11 b/g/n 20 MHz. 5GHz Wi-Fi is not supported. Supported security protocols include WPA/WPA2 Personal, WPA2 Enterprise, TLS, and SSL.
