The Rain Bird BUE05-25S Drip Irrigation Button Dripper/Emitter is a non-pressure compensating model designed for watering the root zones of smaller plants in landscaped areas or containers. This emitter delivers a low 0.5 (1/2) gallon-per-hour flow rate, making it ideal for watering the root zones of small garden and landscape plants, shrubs, and container plantings.

The emitter features barbed ends that securely retain 1/4" Drip tubing, providing a leak-proof connection. Its self-piercing barb allows for direct insertion into the side of 1/2" or larger Drip irrigation tubing, or it can be used with 1/4" tubing for positioning near individual plants. The emitter is simple to insert by hand, or a Rain Bird insertion tool (sold separately) can be used for faster installation.

Designed with large water passages and a self-flushing action, the emitter helps prevent clogging. It is constructed of highly durable UV and chemical-resistant materials to ensure long life. Rain Bird's emitters are color-coded to easily identify the flow rate, with this model being blue-colored.

The convenient plastic bag contains 25 of these 0.5 GPH emitters, and higher flow rates of 1.0 and 2.0 GPH are also available (sold separately) to customize the watering of varying plant types and sizes.
