One of the key features of the CP5004PC is its versatility. The rotor can be adjusted from a 40-degree to a 360-degree part-circle arc, and it also offers a reversing full-circle 360-degree rotation. This allows you to water only the areas that need it, avoiding watering the house, sidewalk, or driveway. For installation convenience, the arc rotation is factory preset at 180 degrees.

The CP5004PC comes with a set of 12 superior-performing Rain Curtain™ nozzles, which deliver a uniform, rotating curtain of large water droplets that fall exactly where you want them, resisting windblown overspray. The nozzles include 4 low-angle trajectory nozzles (10 degrees) and 8 standard-angle nozzles (25 degrees), providing adjustable spray distances from 25 to 50 feet.

The self-aligning nozzles allow for specific adjustments to match the individual gallonage and pressure requirements of your irrigation system. The "micro ramps" on the nozzles also direct a portion of the spray close to the head, eliminating the dry, brown spots that are common with other rotor brands.

The protected closed-case design of the CP5004PC makes it ideal for use in "creeping" grasses, sandy soil, and other harsh environments. The water-lubricated, gear-driven design ensures long-lasting dependability, and the true 4-inch pop-up height clears taller grass.

Additional features of the CP5004PC include a dual-action, positive-stop wiper seal that protects the internal mechanisms from debris while ensuring positive pop-up and retraction. The heavy-duty, rubber-encased cap helps protect the rotor from damage caused by edger strikes. O-rings and seals provide extra protection in "gritty" water, and the self-adjusting stator doesn't require replacement when changing nozzles.

The CP5004PC is designed for spray distances of 15 to 35 feet at common residential water pressures of 25 to 65 psi. It comes with a preinstalled 3.0 GPM nozzle and has a 3/4-inch NPT female bottom threaded inlet, with a flow rate range of 0.73 to 9.63 GPM.
