Rain Bird TRU6I WiFi-Enabled Indoor Irrigation Controller, 6-Zone

The versatile Rain Bird TRU6I irrigation controller allows you to take control of your landscape with its flexible program-based settings. Designed for residential applications with professional features and reliability, this easy-to-set controller features an intuitive programming dial and multi-function LCD display.

The TRU6I can be quickly upgraded to remote WiFi-based, mobile device operation (Apple iOS or Android) by inserting a Rain Bird LNK2 WiFi Module (sold separately). It offers individual A, B, C programs per zone, with up to 4 start times per program, totaling 12 distinct start times per zone. This allows for specialized watering schedules to be created for each area of your yard.

Watering can be customized by days of the week, odd or even calendar days, or cyclic every 1 to 30 days. The Manual Station feature enables watering of a single zone, all zones, or an individual program. The Season Adjust function allows you to increase or decrease watering times by 5% to 200% for all programs at once, or by individual programs.

Rain Delay can manually suspend and resume watering for 1 to 14 days, or operate a rain sensor (sold separately) for automatic delays and restarts. The Permanent Days Off setting allows you to establish regular days or programs when watering will never occur, accommodating scheduled landscaping crew visits.

Boasting professional programming features, the TRU6I offers an interstation delay of 1 second to 9 hours, rain sensor bypass by zone, save/restore programming, control of a zone by master valve or pump start relay, and reset to factory defaults. Its built-in surge protection guards against damage from lightning strikes and power surges.

Designed for indoor mounting, the sealed case protects the controller from moisture, insects, and grime. The automatic troubleshooting function can identify and suspend watering to affected zones, displaying a warning message with the valve number.

Compatible with most 24 VAC irrigation valves, the TRU6I includes a transformer power plug, 6' power cord, and User Manual. It features robust set screw terminals for AC power, valve connections, master valve/pump start relay, and rain/rain freeze sensor.

When paired with the LNK2 WiFi Module and a rain sensor (sold separately), the TRU6I meets EPA WaterSense criteria. Its external power supply has an input of 120V∿ (±10%) at 60 Hz, and an output of 25.5V∿ at 60 Hz, 0.650 A, Class 2.

The TRU6I is UL/ULC LISTED 273J, FCC Part 15b, CAN ICES-003(B)/NMB-003(B), and NOM/NYCE certified. It can operate in a temperature range of -40°F (-40°C) to 150°F (66°C), with a maximum operating temperature of 122°F (50°C) and a maximum operating humidity of 95% at 50°F to 120°F (10°C to 49°C) in a non-condensing environment.
